NCMEC held a training in Georgia for police and prosecutors from several states and Canada to try and stop the epidemic of child sex trafficking (CST). NCMEC estimates that at least 100,000 children each year become victims of CST in the United States. The November training included courses on the violence facing exploited children and how to prevent victimization.
