Georgia legislators passed a bill that allows the state to issue a "Blue Alert" for anyone suspected of seriously injuring or killing a police officer. The alert comes a year after a Chattahoochee Hills police officer was shot several times with a high-powered rifle while he was on patrol. Georgia issues a "Levi's Call" for child abductions and "Mattie's Call" for elderly or disabled people who are missing.
