The Florida Department of Law Enforcement and Florida Sheriff's Association held a “build-a-course” event in February with trainers from the AMBER Alert Training and Assistance Program. Organizers selected specific courses needed in their area. They hope to hold classes in Kissimmee, Orlando, Tallahassee, and Fort Myers to reach officers throughout the state.
