Conducted December 10–12, 2025, the three-day sting targeted motels in Chula Vista, National City, and San Diego. The operation resulted in four arrests on charges including pimping and pandering, plus six citations for attempted sex buying. District Attorney Summer Stephan emphasized the crackdown on an $810 million local industry. Officials also highlighted upcoming legislation, Assembly Bill 379, which makes the purchase of sex from a minor a felony offense starting January 1, 2026.
