The Canadian Public Relations Society held a training session to consider the increased role of social media in crisis situations such as an AMBER Alert and the challenges in dealing with extremely sensitive information. The October 26, 2011, meeting in Calgary included speakers from the Missing Children Society of Canada and looked at the case of Kienan Hebert, a 3-year-old boy who was found safe after being abducted in September.
