Cory Puuri is a Program Manager with AATTAP and is responsible for strategic communications, publications, and websites. He directs the organization's social media strategy, including a monthly storytelling campaign, and serves as the executive editor for all publications like the quarterly AMBER Advocate magazine. Cory also leads the development of national and international reports, manages the daily operations of AATTAP’s websites, and coordinates with vendors to optimize user experience and performance. His leadership extends to managing staff, developing funding proposals and project budgets, and implementing process-improvement strategies.
Prior to his current role, Cory was the Associate Director of Web Communications at Lawrence University. There, he led a team of content creators and directed search engine optimization (SEO) and digital marketing (SEM) strategies to enhance the university’s national reputation. His role encompassed UI/UX design, digital advertising strategy, and the procurement of web communications tools. During his time at Lawrence, he also volunteered as a Deputy Title IX Coordinator.
Before that, Cory was a Digital Account & Technical Project Manager at Envano, where he led web development and digital advertising projects for clients like Miller Electric and Green Bay Packaging. As an Agile Team Lead, he directed cross-functional teams while contributing hands-on expertise in web development, content strategy, SEO, and UI/UX research.
Cory’s experience also includes a significant focus on membership development. As the Membership Development Manager for the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), he spearheaded an award-winning SOLIDWORKS 3D design software benefit that attracted over 18,000 new members in four years.
At J. J. Keller & Associates, Inc., Cory’s responsibilities spanned marketing, communications, and safety services development. He led projects to create a DOT FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Testing service, a driver background screening service, and a web-based Learning Management System. His industry engagement includes serving as a judge at the CVSA Inspector Challenge and hosting numerous safety and compliance webinars with the National Private Truck Council (NPTC).
Cory holds a Master Certificate in Project Management from the University of Wisconsin and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh. He also has his Private Pilot’s Certificate (ASEL).
In his free time, Cory enjoys traveling, dining out, flying, and spending time with his wife, Rebecca, and their adult children, Ben and Jenna.
