From Janell Rasmussen, Region 4 Liaison: What do you find to be the most successful part of your AMBER Alert Program? What would you consider to be the “best practices” of your AMBER Alert plan that may be unique only to your state/program?
The most successful part of our AMBER Alert program is when we work together with other States. We work with other agencies to initiate an Alert in Arizona from out of State, when we have credible information that the vehicle, suspect or victim are in/traveling through Arizona. We have had successful recoveries from working together with other Alert coordinators.
