Our state plan does have language regarding the broadcaster’s responsibility to repeat the alert information every 30 minutes for a period of time, however, it’s been my experience that this rule is not followed and to my knowledge never was. I was around when the state plan was written here in 2004 and the suggested timeline was a request from our State Broadcasters Association President but I don’t remember the reasoning behind it.
