Nebraska started an Endangered Missing Advisory last year. Our legislature was considering a silver alert and the broadcasters wanted to offer a broader alert which would cover multiple scenarios and not confuse the public with different colored alerts. Our requirements mirror most of our neighboring states’ secondary advisories.
